Taylor Anderson or Broddie. Admitted 13 August 1872. Aged 6 5. Married. Housewife. Protestant. Previous place of abod e Crookedholm, Kilmarnock. First attack, duration a few day s. Cause unknown. Dangerous to others. Her Husband Hugh Bro ddie, Blaksmith resides at Crookedholm in the Parish of Kil marnock No. 380 Med. Cert II: Imagines she hears people speakin g to her during night - talks incoherently. That she is at times violent and dangerous - Information fr om her neighbours. Med. Cert IIII: She imagines that one of her neighbours spe ak abusively about her. That she threatened the life of th e woman she imagined abused her. Information from one of he r immediate neighbours. Previously under treatment in Glengall Asylu m. Duration of existing attack 2 weeks. Not suicidal. Dange rous to others. Chargeable to Kilmarnock Parish. Med. Cert. No 1 Talks incoherently - Imagines she hears people speaking t o her. (From her daughter) (2) That she is restless, sometimes vio lent, was formerly in an Asylum Med. Cert. No 2 She imagines that an old neighbour of hers has done her som e grievous injury. She is firm in this delusion.
